Super Mites

Beginner Ski Program: Ages 4-6

 

This program is for young, first-time skiers who can't yet stop or ski on their own. We'll get them started with the fundamentals in a fun and supportive environment.

Parents on Skis Required Parents or guardians must participate in every lesson and should already be comfortable skiing on beginner trails and riding lifts. This program is designed to teach your child how to ski while also giving you tips and techniques to help them continue practicing on your own time.

A complimentary lift ticket is provided for one parent or guardian per registered student under age 7.

 

Program Details

 

  • Ages: 4-6

  • Skill Level: Beginners (ski only)

  • Lessons: Eight 1-hour sessions, plus time for independent practice.

 

Class Schedule

 

Wednesdays

  • 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM

Saturdays

  • 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM

  • 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM

  • 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Sundays

  • 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM

  • 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM

If these sessions sell out, we may open additional slots on Saturdays and Sundays.

This program is for 5 and 6-year-olds who have completed our Mighty Mites program or similar ski lessons. To join, your child must be able to turn and stop on their skis without assistance.

Parents on Skis Required Parents or guardians must participate in every lesson and should already be comfortable skiing on beginner trails and riding lifts. This program is designed to build on your child's skills while also giving you tips and techniques to help them continue practicing on your own time.

A complimentary lift ticket is provided for one parent or guardian per registered student under age 7.

  • Ages: 4-6

  • Skill Level: Intermediate

  • Lessons: Eight 1-hour sessions, plus time for independent practice.

  • Registration Deadline: December 15

Super Mites Ski Lessons (8 Weeks)

for skiers ages 5-6 with at least one year of lesson experience

5 and 6-year-olds who have completed our Mighty Mites Program or other similar lessons.

The child must be able to turn  and stop on skis without assistance

Parental Participation on Skis Required In All Sessions

Parents will be actively taking part in each lesson ON SKIS and must already be competent and comfortable skiing beginner trails and riding lifts. 

This program is designed to teach skiing to the child while offering the parent tips on how they can continue ski with their young children outside of the lesson on their own time. 

 Lost Valley will provide 1 complimentary lift ticket to parents or guardians of students under age 7. Limit one Parent ticket per Student/Session

8 1 hr lessons plus independent skiing

Eight 1 hr lessons plus independent skiing
